Georgetown’s Career Education Center ( provides centralized and comprehensive support for the undergraduate students in their job search, for both full-time positions after graduation and internships.

Majors and certificate programs independently conduct customized activities such as job market workshops, alumni lectures, and circulation of job advertisements. The BSFS bi-weekly e-newsletter, The Globe, publicizes job information. Faculty members use their professional contacts frequently to assist in placing students in a variety of internship, professional, and academic positions. Dr. Elizabeth Stephen emails her students lists of possible fellowships and job listings.
For law school applications, the Career Education Center has a specialized advisor.

Students who are interested in furthering their education are encouraged to solicit advice from faculty members and deans. There is no systematic advising provided for graduate school applications.
